Whoa, what a bike! And to be honest, for GBP 70 000, it’s a steal…’cus for that money, you are not just paying for the bike, you are actually buying it’s whole history, and that’s worth a lot more. Get this: ex-Honda Britain 1989 Honda 750cc RC30, raced by Carl Foharty to a win in IOMF1 and Senior TT 22 years ago. It became only the third motorcycle to go over the magical 120mph! average speed around the infamous Mountain Circuit. And just to add, that F1 win was the first big win for Carl Fogarty in his long career that included 4 World titles.
And that’s not all. There was a Senior TT race to be held, in one of the worse weather conditions ever, with rain and fog so foul that many of the seasoned racers simply pulled out mid-race. Fogarty started and increased his lead almost at every checkpoint to claim his victory. What he has done was so incredibly dangerous and ridiculous, that the hardest men claimed that wouldn’t do it again….which he did in 1992, with a outright lap record that stood for 7 years! But that’s for another story…probably the one that you would need to pay GBP 70 000 more
