Kawasaki SRC team Victorious / 2011 Le Mans 24


Julien Da Costa, Grégory Leblanc and Olivier Four, and their Kawasaki SRC team won the 34th edition of Le Mans 24 endurance race for motorcycles. They beat the last record by four laps, completing total of 834 laps, taking the second straight victory. Suzuki Endurance Racing Team (SERT) took the second while Monster Yamaha took third.

Although the S1000RR no.99 were the quickest team from the start, after the series of mechanical and electrical problems they only managed seventh position.

With this second postion SERT Suzuki is back at the top of the Endurance World Championship standings. They lead by 11 points over BMW Motorrad.
