Mac Motorcycles / Moving On

Remember this?

After many months of nothingness – Mac Motorcycles released the following photos, showing their full size prototype looking very sweet. Just to refresh our memories, Mac Motorcycles is a boutique bike manufacturer from UK that hit the scene couple years back with some nice looking renderings. Their lightweight bikes are powered by the 500cc Buell Blast single cylinder engine used cleverly as a stressed frame member. Continue reading →

Yamaha XS650 by La Corona Motorcycles

It looks like something that would come from Deus Ex Machina, but no…it’s done by a small Spanish custom motorcycle workshop called La Corona Motorcycles. The base is ever-so-popular Yamaha XS with the 650cc engine and like with most of the XS builds, the bike was stripped of all the nonsense, mounted a heat wrapped exhaust and turned into a nice little daily commuter. Moto Guzzi V7 by Luca Bar Design

We’re already accustomed to the cool and pretty realistic motorcycle renderings coming from Luca Bar Design. The latest one is based on the Moto Guzzi V7 bike and we think it “looks the business”. The seat unit has been redesigned, the exhaust is mounted at a different angle and there is an additional “race” fairing. To stop this sweet bike, Luca is proposing a dual front disc setup. Farewell Letter and Hand Sketch a 15 Year Old / Ciao Super Sic

Source: MotoBlog.it

My name is Francesco, I am 15 years old. I’m a fan of Sic beginning of his adventure in MotoGP. That evil day, I slept, I knew that the championship was decided and the race was not interested. Waking up in the morning with my brother who told me “Simoncelli is dead” was one of the worst moments of my life. I’ve never been so much impressed by the death of someone who did not know in person.

After I recovered from the shock, I started drawing with a simple black Bic. This is the result. I called him “the bike without a pilot” and it is my farewell to a great rider and a great person. My desire is to send the original to the family Simoncelli, but I do not know the address. I hope you understand the Motoblog and publish this my e-mail to help me find him and grant my wish:)

Two new concepts from OBIBOI / Big Sur + Indian

These are the two new concept designs from one of our favorite motorcycling artists, Oberdan Bezzi. They’re quite similar in their basics, with tubular frames, twin rear shocks, USD forks and huge V-Twin engines. The finishing touches and some styling details are what make them different enough.

1. BIG SUR – concept for a small factory with the same name. The idea to have the bike that blends couple of technological generations with the old school tube frame, semi-modern S&S V-Twin engine and modern suspension and brakes. Continue reading →

Scott Campbell Tatoo’s Pirelli Tire for Ducati Diavel

This is certainly something we see for the first time. Scoot Campbell, renowned American tattoo artist gave the whole new meaning to the “cutting of your own grooves in the tire”. What he did, in a collaboration with Ducati, is to tattoo the rear tire for custom Ducati Diavel shown at the opening of Pirelli Corso Venezia shop in Milan. Another special item went together with this craziness. Continue reading →

Honda Integra / No, not the car…

We are very excited about this “boring” machine. Yes it’s a new maxi-scooter from Honda called Integra. Powered by the 670cc twin parallel engine producing 51hp, this nice little “future transportation machine” is showing us what lies ahead of us. 76mpg! Compare this number to any hybrid or an electric car and you would see why are we so excited. And yes, say good bye to crowded streets and highways. But why maxi scooters? Continue reading →
