Yamaha XS650 by La Corona Motorcycles

It looks like something that would come from Deus Ex Machina, but no…it’s done by a small Spanish custom motorcycle workshop called La Corona Motorcycles. The base is ever-so-popular Yamaha XS with the 650cc engine and like with most of the XS builds, the bike was stripped of all the nonsense, mounted a heat wrapped exhaust and turned into a nice little daily commuter. Farewell Letter and Hand Sketch a 15 Year Old / Ciao Super Sic

Source: MotoBlog.it
My name is Francesco, I am 15 years old. I’m a fan of Sic beginning of his adventure in MotoGP. That evil day, I slept, I knew that the championship was decided and the race was not interested. Waking up in the morning with my brother who told me “Simoncelli is dead” was one of the worst moments of my life. I’ve never been so much impressed by the death of someone who did not know in person.
After I recovered from the shock, I started drawing with a simple black Bic. This is the result. I called him “the bike without a pilot” and it is my farewell to a great rider and a great person. My desire is to send the original to the family Simoncelli, but I do not know the address. I hope you understand the Motoblog and publish this my e-mail to help me find him and grant my wish:)

Two new concepts from OBIBOI / Big Sur + Indian

These are the two new concept designs from one of our favorite motorcycling artists, Oberdan Bezzi. They’re quite similar in their basics, with tubular frames, twin rear shocks, USD forks and huge V-Twin engines. The finishing touches and some styling details are what make them different enough.
1. BIG SUR – concept for a small factory with the same name. The idea to have the bike that blends couple of technological generations with the old school tube frame, semi-modern S&S V-Twin engine and modern suspension and brakes. Continue reading →
