Horex VR6 bike is finally going into production. A retro looking motorcycle powered by a VR6 engine will produce 160HP in N/A and 200HP in force induction version. 15 ° V-Twin with a displacement of 1200cc will be the base for both models. The thing that differs from the prototype is the belt driven rear wheel, while the production models will be fitted with ABS and traction control.
Clemens Neese, general manager of the project and one of three partners who have resurrected the brand says the production in 2011 will be 200 units, while they expect 2,000 units produced in 2012. Numbers that are not bad at all for something we didn’t expect to happen…ever. Great stuff!
