2012 Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC / EICMA

Aprilia had to do something for this year edition of EICMA in Milano, so they updated the RSV4 Factory with some new color schemes and brand new electronics. The engine management is now revised and tweaked, eight-level traction is present together with launch control and wheelie control. 65° V4 engine is still producing 180hp, but with improved lubrication, closer spaced gears (for acceleration) and lighter exhaust system.

Still present are Öhlins fork and shock, Brembo radial monoblock’s and a new dot matrix self-diagnosis system neatly incorporated in the dashboard. We’re not sure how faster the new revision will be, but we are sure that Aprilia RSV4 Factory will be topping the comparison tests in 2012 as it was before

  1. A lot of hoopla for very little change from 2011 to 2012. All the engine changes and APRC electronics were on the 2011 RSV4 SE.

Gold wheels and slightly revised color scheme for the Factory and yellow for the RSV4r?…really?

How about a few more ponies or dropping a few pounds off the bike for 2012?
