So this Ducati 1098 does come as a surprise. And a very good one we might add! Continue reading →

Kevils Speed Shop / “Spider” – BMW R100 Scrambler

There is a reason why bikes like this Kevils Speed Shop BMW R100 Scrambler are becoming more and more popular. First of all – there is a big chance that the bike like this is the only one in the world (unlike thousands of factory bikes all looking absolutely the same). Second – you can get them for very little money, and the costs of maintenance can become nothing – if you do most of the stuff yourself. And third? Well just choose any of the sensations you feel while riding a bike – most likely they would be much stronger on the machine like this. Continue reading →

2013 BMW Adventure Flagship / The R1250GS

These are probably the best spy photos to date of the BMW Adventure flagship – the all mighty R1250GS. And as you might know already the newest GS is water cooled, unlike the old 1200cc which was, you guessed it, air cooled. BMW is taking quite a long time for testing – as they don’t want to spoil the previous generation hit-bike, just because they need to obey strict emission laws. Continue reading →

2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale “Naked”

If there would be something called “bikep0rn”, than the following set of pictures is the closes thing to it – for the Ducati 1199 Panigale. Straight from the CAD programs and rendered on the black background, the 1199 “triple-x” shots are revealing most of the technical marvels incorporated into one of the most exciting bikes to come out of Bologna factory since the legendary 916. But what’s so exciting with this bike – comparing it to the beautiful machines like 999, or say 1198. Well, if we put it bluntly – half of the parts are missing for starts! Continue reading →

“Brit Bob” Triumph Thruxton by JvB-Moto & Urban Moto

Sometimes it takes a foreigner to create a true British street bike and that’s the case with Brit Bob. Jens vom Brauck / JvB (designer from Cologne) and Urban Motor (Berlin bike builders) took the old-fashioned Triumph Thruxton and changed it into a slim-down, taut, agressive version of itself. The bars were changed to “choppeddown ape-hangers”, the seat minimised, the mudgards shortened, giving the bike some serious street attitude. Just to keep the body juices flowing, the two-into-one high-up exhaust was mounted. Weight? A sweet 200kg! Continue reading →
