FX Roadster by Walt Siegl

We are such a huge fans of Walt Siegl’s work. The master craftsmen based in New Hampshire, USA, set a small workshop only to produce some of the most beautiful two wheeled works of art in the world. He’s not like Wrenchmonkees with their grunge and raw approach or like Deus ex Machina, with their pop-art motorcycle-visions, Walt is the brand for himself. He is rewriting history – much to his latest creation – a Harley Davidson that could have been made 40 years ago….the FX Roadster.

The amount of custom work on the FX is just mental – and it would be fair to say that that it’s a totally new motorcycle. The engine is a shovelhead from 70′s – fully rebuild (just look at the pictures), the suspension and the geometry were redesigned, while the frame received much needed strengthening in the form of the frame loop. The brakes are from modern Harley’s and the bench seat replaces the old H-D unit…and then there’s 100 more details that makes this bike so special.

It resembles the big roadsters from 60′s and 70′s, so much so that you would mistake it for a British bike…but than you notice the engine and the transmission and it’s clear that it’s US…and then you realize that it’s none of those…it’s an Walt Siegl original. It’s the FX Roadster

It’s for sale…just go and buy it…

  1. Almost the identical article here:

  2. Brad, it’s the same bike, with the same details. We got it from the same source – Walt Siegl. How can they (articles) be so different? :)
