We are not sure what to think of Husqvarna at the moment. As the BMW subsidiary, Husky brand is trying to cover the market where there’s no BMW models. This approach led them to the release one of the most un-inspiring new motorcycles in 2011 – the Nuda 900. Clumsy and big, without any real “features” to get a hold of, it carried one important question: who will buy it? On the other side – Husqvarna’s concepts are exciting, creating quite a stir every time they’re released. Check out the latest Baja Concept.
Certainly one of the best re-creations of the cult off-road motorcycles of 70′s in recent times, Baja Concept has it all – It’s cool, it looks good with it’s radical front headlight and couple more details, the engine is fairly simple (650cc single cylinder from the G650GS). It’s rugged and stylish, and you wouldn’t be ashamed to park it next to the Triumph Scrambler.
Would it sell? We don’t know – and by the looks of things, Husqvarna doesn’t either.
