Vespa with a Sidecar by Arsscoot

Vespa represent different thing to different people. For some it is a symbol of an independence and style, for others it’s a nostalgic feeling that brings back a lot of memories. But there is no doubt that there is very few things cooler than Vespa. Well this might be one of them – Arsscoot restored Vespa with a brand new sidecar. Vintage looks combined with modern performance and handling. Continue reading →

Custom Bikes of Poland by Loniek

It looks like Poland has some talented bike builders after all – ‘cus this short movie is showing a lot! Originally made in 2011 for the “Cruiser” (TV show for Polish channel TVN Turbo) it shows couple of really tastefully customizes and built bikes. Custom paints and few parts to fully built machines – it’s all there…and yes, a few shots of beautiful Polish girls. The contacts for the bike builders are at the end titles – but not all of them are correct. Continue reading →

2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000 SERT / Bol d’Or

The FIM World Endurance Championship 2012 (WEC) is starting on April 14th-15th with a legendary Bol d’Or 24 hours race at Magny-Cours. Winning 9 out of the last 10 races on the very same track, Suzuki’s Endurance Racing Team – SERT – is looking better than ever, and represents a No.1 contender for the top spot. But if we would to push that all aside, just by looking at the pictures of the 2012 Yoshimura powered Suzuki GSX-R1000 we would probably conclude the same. Continue reading →

Moto Guzzi Sport Prototype by Luca Bar Design

This is the latest motorcycle design done by a very talented Luca Bar. Touching a sensitive subject of Moto Guzzi’s position within the Piaggio group, Luca is proposing something a bit different – a sport bike but with a different flavor to dominant Aprilia RSV4′s. Unlike the legendary air cooled V-Twin of the past – Luca is contemplating a liquid cooled unit with cylinders rotated by 90 degrees. This will give more leg room to the riders while the fuel injection will have the logical top position on the cylinder. What distincts Moto Guzzi Sport from it’s half-brother (RSV4) is the front suspension based on Hossak system and the single sided swingarm, but other than that – the rest is pretty much Aprilia (frame, re-done bodywork, tank). Just ‘cus he can, Luca did the body in carbon fiber and the seat in nice brown leather. We love it! Continue reading →

Scooter Rider Surprise / “Did I axe you anything?!”

Don’t mess with the Polish scooter riders…

Well this is a surprise! It happened to all of us to doze off on the trafic light – only to be “brutally” awake by that annoying sound of the horn. Sometimes we give a comment or even shout, some of us raise their hand (interestingly with a middle finger pointing up!?), but not the Polish scooter riders. They wait for two horns, and then…well you have to check it out! Continue reading →

Past Concepts / CarvX 4-wheeled Tilting Xtreme Off-Road Bicycle

This concept was introduced back in 2008, and till today we didn’t the real life model. Designed by Rob Crins / GBO Design it represents a 4-wheeled tilting aluminum off-road bicycle, and what basically this concept does it introduces an ability to aid the steering by leaning your body “into the curve”. It has 4 independent wishbone suspensions and four hydraulic disc brakes. The “human” power is transfered from the pedals to the rear wheels via 14 speed Rohloff hub. Continue reading →

Chinese “Not-So-Easy” Reverse Trike / TF110 ATV Yongkang Easy Vehicle Co.

Now this is an interesting “ATV” coming from the Chinese Yongkang Easy Vehicle Company. The reverse trike with the code name TF110 (probably missing a letter “W” in front) – build in similar fashion to CanAm – only for the off road purposes. We’re not so sure if this would prove a better concept in real life than your regular quad, while at the same time we can’t escape the feeling that the build wasn’t entirely the “thought-and-desing” process, but rather a “whatever-parts-are-available-in-the-factory” process. Weighing in around 100kg and boasting a “massive” 110cc engine will guarantee you the terminal speed of around 48km/h. Exciting, no? Continue reading →

WTF of the Day / Bike that needs the Driver and the Pusher

…he might as well walked…

It seems that this is a joke for everybody except the “pusher” in the rear seat of the small scooter. Every time the rider tries to get it in gear and drops the clutch too fast, the bike stalls, leaving the poor passenger to act as a kick starter. He’ll probably start kicking himself for ever wanting a ride… Continue reading →

Ducati 798 Desmosport R by Oberdan Bezzi / Affordable “Panigale”

It’s all about the brand…

We’ve been following Oberdan Bezzi for quite some time, as he’s one of the most talented and active motorcycle designers around. But to be honest his latest Desmosport 798 R is not as good as some of his previous projects – yet it’s probably the most popular article picked by the world wide motorcycling media. We ask why? The answer probably lies in the fact that this particular one is not all about the taste and aesthetics, but more about the hype and the bike’s brand…Ducati brand that is… Continue reading →

MF08 Forza Z by Rodeo

Can anyone beat the stance of this “MF”???

For sometime we forgot about one of the most creative subcultures in the motorcycle world – the insane Japanese custom scooters! Just check out this (sorry to use this) pimped-out badboy of a scooter, a masterpiece by RODEO. Painted in what appears to be Mercedes Silver, RODEO used BOMEX body kit for the front fender, front seciton, side cowl, side steps, rear spoiler and then stuck a PS2 connected to the 3.7 inch / 5 inch monitor. Subwoofer is a must in builds like this, as is the modified swing arm and custom wheels. That’s a 14 by 8 inch RODEO wheel in the back! Continue reading →
