Jorian Ponomareff / Stunting the Nature

French freestyle stunter Jorian Ponomareff wanted to do something different with his latest video. He wanted to get closer to nature, performing his signature stunts in environments including a beach, river, fields and even a quarry. And the results? Nice in visual terms, but limited to just 20-foot square platforms placed at the locations, resulting in lots of wheelie spins. Continue reading →

2012 Grand Prix České Republiky / Brno for Pedrosa

It was a nail-biting race at Brno with the spirited Dani Pedrosa coming on top, winning the race and keeping his momentum in the title chase, cutting Jorge Lorenzo’s lead to just 13 points. Without an injured Casey Stoner, it was immediately clear who were the fastest riders on track, as Jorge and Dani pulled away early in the race. Both riding a very tactical race, almost like a chess game, it all came down to the last lap – with Dani keeping his cool till the very end – using a good drive up the hill and into the last chicane on the track. Jorge had nothing else to do but to settle for second. Continue reading →

BMW K75 Tatanka

You need to have it in your fingers in order to build a bike like this. Seems like Frank from Moto Sumisura, Italy, had just the correct set of skills to pull it off. Starting from a very young age, he has managed to not only salvage, but transform quite a few BMWs from total wrecks to things of beauty. This specific one is based on the BMW K75, which Frank stripped to the bare essentials and recreated it in the form of an awesome naked BMW city tracker. Continue reading →

2012 World Superbike Moscow Race 1 & 2

Race 1:
Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) scored the first-ever race win at the new Moscow Raceway circuit in the eni FIM Superbike World Championship, after a faultless display of front running at a high pace. His instant speed from second on the grid kept him away from the troubles many other top riders endured behind him, with crashes helping Marco Melandri (BMW Motorrad Motorsport) finish second in an incident-packed race. Custom Classified Moto KT600 for Katee Sackoff

Classified Moto are going from strength to strength. Their latest addition is a custom bike they’ve built for Battlestar Gallactica actress Katee Sackoff. Based on the “old” Honda XL600R Enduro, it endured quite the transformation, we think. In true Classifieds style, the front fork has been changed for a Kawasaki ZX6R USD, while the rear end needed some massaging to receive a single-sided swingarm from the Triumph Sprint. The bike is cleverly named KT600 (kay-tee). Continue reading →

ICON Low Down & Shifty / 1974 Yamaha XS650

Motorcycle gear and apparel brand ICON Moto has to be one of the most creative companies in the world. Recently, they’ve introduced a new segment in their lineup called the ICON 1000 – a post-apocalyptic approach to riding gear, and what better way to promote it than by showing the bikes you should ride while you’re wearing it. The “Low Down & Shifty” is a Mad Max-ed 1974 Yamaha XS650, with an insane one-off frame that acts as a gas tank at the same time. Continue reading →

When we look at this custom Moto Guzzi V35C Diabola, we know that Venier Customs are onto something good. Directed by Stefano Venier and built by master mechanic Ivan Delle Vedove and his team, VC strive to keep the bikes in as original shape as thay can, so that one day you can take them back to stock form if you wish. Another Recall / Ducati 1199 Panigale

If you bought the newest Ducati superbike in the US recently, the gorgeous Panigale 1199, be sure to visit your dealer sometime in the near future to check if there’s anything wrong. Apparently, the latest issues are really serious and can affect the braking system and the swingarm pivot points – do we have to emphasize that any of these faults can lead to a catastrophic crash and injury to the rider???
