
Meet the Bald Terrier – younger brother of the famous Deus’ 2009 V Twin Cafe Racer. The story behind it is that one day certain Mr.Glenn walked in to Deus Ex Machina and commissioned a Harley-Davidson Cafe Racer with a massive stopping power. The base: 2007 fuel injected Sportster 1200. 19inch front and 18inch rear wheels, brake discs and calipers were mounted for a good measure and balanced looks. Storz was the supplier for the rear sets which had to be modified for that optimum riders position, so was the Vince & Hines exhaust to suit the overall looks.
The tank is a heavily modified SR400 unit, held down by the bespoke aluminum strap. The stock fuel pump feeds the injectors while the air comes through a Performance Machine “Super Gas” air cleaner, which houses a K&N Filter. Power Commander V controls everything, while it increses the overal HP number. And then there are the details: black chrome fork sliders, speedo, custom rear end and the seat…it can only be Deus…

Harley-Davidson’s designers (especially Willie G) should be looking at this type of bike to appeal to the younger riders. Not big ol baggers. Then price it at where a Sportster is.
