Super sweet Honda CB750F from Classified Moto’s John Ryland. Blending classic and modern styling cues and characteristics, the 1980 CB750F gets a new YZF R6-sourced front end, including wheel, fork and controls. The rear comes from a Ducati 1098, while the whole swingarm replaces the stock unit, and the Showa monoshock now stands out distinctly in the space beneath the new custom subframe. The exhaust, in typical Classified Moto style, is a four-into-one unit. Continue reading →

Yamaha XS360 / The Hookie
Yamaha’s XS360 never sold in huge numbers, admittedly outshone by its slighty bigger sibling, the XS400. Interestingly, both bikes featured an almost identical parallel-twin, air-cooled mill with a crank off-set of 180 degrees, as well as the same 6-speed transmission and frame.
This neat XS360 is by German custom shop, The Hookie, who have retained the most characteristic aspects of the bike while adding a little bit of their own flavour. The original handlebars have been ditched in favour of a pair of classic clip-ons, while a custom all-in-one seat/rear cowling comes in place of the stock seat. Other bits include a custom exhaust, cleaned up mid-frame section, knobbly rubber and deleted fenders. Scroll down for more images. Continue reading →

Video / Further II
Edwin and Kingdom of Kicks share a similar approach to life, both constantly looking to push the boundaries of their perennial products. Together they tell a story of friendship and respect for the simplicity of their respective crafts, embarking on a journey that takes them from London to Biarritz to take part in the Wheels & Waves event. Riding personally customised bikes with a couple of old tents thrown in, no map, a healthy dose of rain, old skateboards and knackered out surf boards, Nico’s famous catapult, and eyes for mischief and adventure, the marauding members of the ‘FURTHER’ crew celebrate the best of times putting their product to the test. Number 23 also receives a lowered frame, rear seat design, lower front suspension and Öhlins suspension bits, along with a K&N air filter, LSL dirt-style handlebars and Coker Diamond tyres front and rear. Sweet, no? Continue reading →
