Riding a Honda C90 through the Arctic Circle in Winter!

This is a music video put together by C90 Adventures using the footage from his motorcycle ride through the Arctic Circle in February 2013. The dude was alone with only his trusty C90, a camera and camping equipment. The coldest temperature recorded was -23oC inside the tent.

Check out www.c90adventures.co.uk for more videos and info on this and other trips he and his little C90 have done together.

1988 Honda NX Dominator S1 / Sameiros Motors

87-DSCF1364

Having opened its doors on January 1, 2013, Sameiros Motors is a brand new company no doubt. But that doesn’t mean they can’t build sweet customs. Crafted by two bike-loving brothers who come from a family of pilots, this ’88 Honda NX Dominator S1 is a tracker unlike most other cafe racer-inspired Dominators. Little from the original bike remains, as the siblings have swapped out most stock items for one-off pieces. The airbox is deleted, while the OEM filter is replaced with a high-flow conical one. Adding to the youthful nature of this custom are the shortened frame, retro flat seat and the ’52 Terrot 100cc-sourced fuel tank. Dubbed “Loose the wheels”, the bike also features wrapped pipes culminating in a Wrenchmonkees “shorty” muffler. Way to go guys! Scroll down for more images of this beautiful machine. 1992 Honda CB250 / Rene9ade Custom Motorcycles

25_04_2013_renegade_01

This awesome Honda CB250 was shown at the recently concluded Throttle Roll event in Sydney, Australia. Rene9ade Custom Motorcycles‘ unique take on the 1992 model shared space, yet stood out, with more than 40 other killer builds.

The guys at Pipeburn spoke with bossman Ren de Haas about his latest build. “The bike is a ’92 CB250 twin. Internally, it’s very ordinary and nothing much has been changed with power delivery or drive train. The bike was in a pretty rugged state on delivery, but it ran so it ticked all the boxes. Then we got to work.” Continue reading →

Honda CB Superstrada / Classified Moto

classified-moto-honda-cb750f-2

Super sweet Honda CB750F from Classified Moto’s John Ryland. Blending classic and modern styling cues and characteristics, the 1980 CB750F gets a new YZF R6-sourced front end, including wheel, fork and controls. The rear comes from a Ducati 1098, while the whole swingarm replaces the stock unit, and the Showa monoshock now stands out distinctly in the space beneath the new custom subframe. The exhaust, in typical Classified Moto style, is a four-into-one unit. Continue reading →

1974 Honda CL360 / Josh Mott Racing

1974-Honda-CL360-Josh-Mott-Racing-back-right

This is what Josh Mott, owner of JMR Customs of Boise, Idaho has to say about this sweet Honda. “We came across a 1974 CL360 Honda donor while dropping a Moto Guzzi off to a customer. The lady had the bike sitting in her garage, it was in rough shape. When I say rough shape, I mean it was probably the worst one I have ever come across. I asked her about it and she seemed relieved that someone was willing to get it out of her garage. I brought it back to the shop and checked the normal spark and compression. The bike had both so I cleaned the carbs and she fired first kick.” Continue reading →

Custom / 1982 Honda CX500 / Mateusz Stankiewicz

honda-cx500-5

When it came out in 1978, Honda’s CX500 was admittedly not the most good-looking of bikes, and went out of production a quick five years later. But it was tough and reliable, which means you can still pick a clean one for not so much money. Like this 1982 model for instance, which is owned by Warsaw photographer Mateusz Stankiewicz, who built it with the help of a local garage named Eastern Spirit. Continue reading →

1973 Honda “DCB750″ / Toby Grubb and Justin Lewis

13

While most garage builders tend to shy away from technology in their quest to produce something achingly beautiful, that was not the case with Toby Grubb and Justin Lewis, members of Portland, Oregon-based digital creative agency Instrument.

Inspired by “the industrial lines of Jonathan Ive’s MacPro G5″ and Apple’s clean design philosophy in general, the Honda boasts a relatively clutter-free look, but without losing any of its functionality. For instance, you get a unique Instrument Mobile Dashboard App that combines a digital speedometer, tachometer, odometer, and a GPS tracking system into a clean and very legible readout that’s displayed on your iPhone.
