Kawasaki SRC team Victorious / 2011 Le Mans 24
Julien Da Costa, Grégory Leblanc and Olivier Four, and their Kawasaki SRC team won the 34th edition of Le Mans 24 endurance race for motorcycles. They beat the last record by four laps, completing total of 834 laps, taking the second straight victory. Suzuki Endurance Racing Team (SERT) took the second while Monster Yamaha took third. New 2012 Kawasaki ZX-14 Insight
The interweb is currently in the overdrive over the latest Kawasaki hyperbike – the much awaited 2012 ZX-14 (that’s ZZR1400 for our US friends). What do we know so far. It would be green, the engine size will be 1429ccm, the electronic package will be similar to the ZX-10R and it will be unveiled on 10/10/2011. That’s about it. 1975 Kawasaki S1 Cafe Racer by Twinline
One more amazing looking cafe racer coming this time from Twinline Motorcycles, a workshop where “wild schemes often become artistic realities”, and yes, we dig this. As for the bike, it’s a 1975 Kawasaki S1 three-cylinder two-stroke vintage gem, with an array of custom elements trying to balance an odd 2+1 side exhaust combination. The way that the whole bike was neatly blacked-out, with the clever choice for handlebars creates a stunning looking racer. The modern projector lights are icing on the cake…such a cool machine! New Kawasaki ZX-14 / ZZR1400
It looks like there are some things happening in Kawasaki HQ. Rumors are saying that the new updated version is about to come onto the market. Although it will be only a cosmetic makeover and the mechanical internals will remain the same, this will be a good move for somewhat dated looking big 1400cc bike. Now the interesting thing. It says Kawasaki….wait…Kwikasfaki!
Breath in…wow…speachless. We were never big fans of Forum topics spreading over double digit pages. But this build is something special. Like it wasn’t enough that the engine is sourced-out of the old-three-cylinder-two-stroke dragster bike, capable of hitting low 9′s, mixed up with one of the sickest looking exhausts ever, tooped up with Ohlins’ and Brembo’s.
