We absolutely love the SuperMotard bikes – and the 2012 Yamaha YZ450SM is no exception. Who wouldn’t love the “reverse” tilted engine cylinder and the component repositioning for the unprecedented mass centralisation and some silly bike control. In order to take corners even faster Yamaha fitted the latest Slippery Clutch STM – for those less experienced with the corner angles and the approach as for the fastest guys on the track. The front suspension have been lowered 30mm, the rear by 10mm, and both are fitted with a stiffer set of springs. 310mm wave discs are fitted together with a Brembo calipers for the full stopping power. Jet Powered Hayabusa by Tony Pandolfo
It took Tony Pandolfo nearly seven years to figure out how to integrate a jet engine in almost any motorcycle’s chassis. And now – finally – you can order yours – and it would be finished in mere 6 months! Mental! For his first project Tony choose the Suzuki GSX-R1100, fully built it, and manage to sell it last year. The very same bike was featured in six different motorcycle magazines around the world and created quite a stir (like that a surprise). For his second project the bike was obvious – the stock-ish looking 1st gen Suzuki Hayabusa. Read more about this genius-lunacy after the jump! Continue reading →

Shaw Speed & Custom Iron 883

The good looking custom Harley doesn’t have to have all the latest bells and whistles mounted on them. Sometimes it’s better just to remove most of the stuff, which are not needed after all (IMHO), as the good guys from Shaw Speed & Custom did. Their latest Iron XL883N with a nice flat blue tank, all stripped down – is the kind of the bike we like to ride around the streets and B-roads. Using the RSD Clip-Ons and the new Cafe seat they’ve managed to create the raw looking cafe-racer HD bike without spending much. Continue reading →

BRD RedShift / “Electric Fun”

We need more videos like this in order to educate our selves about the electric future while showing the ordinary Joe that electric bikes can be fun too. Having said that – we’ll just add that we love them all – it’s our policy..our moto…being an extended Hayabusa, blinged out Harley Davidson, electric enduro or a British Cafe Racer. And we love the BRD RedShift. Continue reading →

Yamaha Scorpio ’08 / Project Kedua by Studio Motor

Check out this beautiful new custom Yamaha Scorpio from Studio Motor. The inspiration came from the legendary and iconic Darwin Motorcycles Brawler GT3 – and the talented builders from Jakarta, Indonesia, done their best to recreate it in a much smaller 250cc package. 17 inch front and back wheels shod in Shinko tires were necessary to give the bike that Pro Street bobber looks, the modifications on the body were extensive while the front fork was borrowed from the Honda CB400 Superfour. The old drum-brakes were changed for disc’s, the level of detail is amazing and the execution is top notch – everything is just about right. Continue reading →
