Harley-Davidson “Black Ops”

There is no limit to human creativity. Although we thought that the entire truckload of ideas for customized Harleys were used up, we still come across some rather stunning examples. The “Black Ops” is the the latest such bike, bursting with originality, and with one simple detail that differentiates it from any build before – it’s those beautiful 16″ WWII Jeep Willys tyres! Apparently, they are not at least as bad as they look, providing a soft ride and tons of grip!

“Black Ops” have been built using a 1996 Fatboy “body” as a base, HD 1340cc single cam engine, “Bikers Choice” front end, a Side Winder exhaust and probably a thousand more little things, but this is quite enough for the story. People behind this extraordinary motorcycle are:Dave Brown, Heath Flicker, Mark Bates and Tony Hines at Bates Custom Fabrication in Phoenix, Arizona. We salute them.

  1. Now that is something you do not see everyday. Image the heads turning when you rolled up on that bike
