HD Scrambler Rod 17 / Cuco moto

This has to be one of the nicest custom Harley-Davidson “Scramblers” that we ever came across. Maybe the only one. Built by very talented people from Cuco Moto/Spain, the “HD Rod 17” hit all our sweet spots when it comes to HD dirt machines. We love the way that bike looks like it came out the factory (stock-like isn’t it?) as you could hardly tell that this is a custom. If Harley would ever to release a Scrambler bike, this would be pretty close. The proportions are important part of the overall look and the HD Rod 17 is totally balanced, with masses in the right place while the rake and the height of the motorcycle correlate perfectly.

The custom rear subframe is one of the best looking such fabrications that we’ve seen in a while, creating a perfect U frame loop for the extra strength and the space for the beautiful leather seat. The rear fender resembles the vintage dirt bikes of 60s and 70s, the swing arm looks stock but with the connecting points altered. The twin remote reservoir shocks replace the stock units, and we believe that the bike was lifted min 2-3 inches. The fork legs accommodate for the twin discs at the front (Harley calipers?), the rear is a single disc while the power is transfers via sprocket and chain.

And then there’s so many other things like custom swing arm pivot point, custom signals and lights, BMW K1300R headlight…but we leave the rest for you to explore. It’s just fantastic!
