Meet the number six from Axel Budde and his custom workshop Kaffeemaschine, Hamburg. It is a custom Moto Guzzi Le Mans 1980, built for British rider Brian Cowen who wanted his own old-school machine capable of beating anything vintage that come in its way. When you look at the main features – the bike is fairly simple – a vintage cafe racer finished in red and silver, rolling on alloy wheels. But what Alex managed to squeeze out of that simple idea is nothing short of amazing. This has to be one of the most beautiful Moto Guzzi Custom bikes in the world.
The engine came from Guzzi V11 with a set of HTMoto cams and new valves. The chassis was moddified, the rear section and the seat cowl were custom made, and the icing on the cake came in form of the carbon fiber fuel tank. The bike weigh in at 176kg, and the 1040cc engine produces a healthy 95hp. You said you want to buy a cool looking new bike, but the market doesn’t seem to have any??? Look no further…
