This beautiful custom BMW R100RS (1981 model) is coming from Barcelona / Spain. Built by La Corona Motorcycles it represents all that naked custom BMW tracker should. The interesting bit about custom jobs like this is that they look almost as nothing “special” was done, but the reality is so very different. 1000s of man hours spent perfecting all the little details that you usually don’t even notice, for example the gas tank isn’t BMW unit at all as it been sourced from Kawasaki KZ750! The base bike came with all the fairings and whatnot and it was black and red originally. The electrics are completely new now, the engine is painted black and the beautiful powder coated gold mesh style wheels are shod in Firestone ANS Military tires – 19 x 4.0 front and 18 x 4.5 rear.
The handlebars were changed for enduro’s, the head and tail lights are scrambler style while the battery was changed to gel type and relocated below the engine. And there is more. Lots more. In the end – it’s just a beautiful motorcycle, one that you can park in you living room and admire for days or take it to the local dirt track and ride it for hours. Take your pick.
