Now this is awkward. Looks like Moto Guzzi want to show everybody their latest model, the California 1400, but they don’t want to release any pictures or specs! Although we got a glimpse of the bike couple of months back via numerous mobile phone camera shots, this time the California was presented to American dealers at an event in Miami. And if it wasn’t for Max Biaggi and his mobile phone camera, we wouldn’t be seeing the all-new 1400cc air-cooled engine residing in a cruiser/Harley-looking body, complete with a long wheelbase, low seating position and strange looking headlight (with daytime running LEDs on the sides).
What’s even stranger is the fact that the displayed model is not the US-spec bike (the side-mounted reflectors are missing, and those blinkers are too small). Weird – looks like they know what they are doing – not!
