Giacomo Agostini: “Lorenzo stronger and faster than Valentino in 2010…”

Augusto Moreno de Carlos, the Director of Motorcycle Magazine, met Giacomo Agostini in Spain, for the “Golden Penguin” awards. What follows is a very interesting interview between two of them, which give an insight in Giacomo’s feelings and thoughts about Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi, Ducati and racing…

Q: What do you think of Spain and the World Champion title for Jorge Lorenzo?
A: “I think it was a triumph for all of Spain. Jorge was determined as ever, and Spain showed that they know how to focus on young talent as opposed to what is happening in Italy. Lorenzo is really a great rider and was able to be as fast, if not more, than Rossi. But the difficulty now lies in maintaining that position, and continue to be on top in 2011, in 2012 and so on. ” Continue reading →
