After some 20 years in building Harley Davidson customs, Sandy Poglavec turned to his friend Erick for a fresh new approach. They came up with Q-Tec concept, 2 wheel kit, that can replace either the front wheel, rear wheel or both, giving you the option to transform your Harley to a trike, reverse trike or a full quad! Kit comes with independent suspension and rear differential. There are options for both belt and chain drive. Frame covers and fenders are made out of fiberglass – and there is an electric reverse as well.
Now – the interesting part is that you don’t need to change or custom make anything on your existing Harley Davidson bike! No drilling or welding is involved and you can remove the whole kit and put the original parts back in no time. Full conversions take less than a day. Q-Tec kit has European Type Approval for both trike and quad conversion. Q-Tec versions look very well engineered and give the Harley crowd another option if they want more than 2 wheels.
Dealers list covers Europe and UAE. US market is not mentioned. Since the Can-Am Spyder is on the road, we would think these might get an approval, at least in their trike versions, the quad might work in those states that currently allow quads on the road. Some great engineering and nice concept and looks. Not for everyone – but definitely something special, and done the right way.
