Yamaha XS650 Manx…sorry, “Man-xs”

Thanks to the magnificent 8Nero web blog we found another gem of a Yamaha XS. This time it’s the famous 650cc with an obvious design inspiration from the legendary Notron Manx cafe racer. Brought in from Germany to Spain – the bike was completely stripped and rebuilt. The swingarm was changed for the aluminum one while the brake system was upgraded to two four-piston calipers from Kawasaki ZX9-R. The new engine came from the Dutch Yamaha XS specialist – Heiden Tuning all freshened up and with couple extra horses. Continue reading →

Past Customs: 2007 Nortorious by Roger Goldammer

Roger Goldammer has built another stunning piece, this time it’s called Nortorious. Based on a featherbed style frame, Roger used a much modified, supercharged, single cylinder Harley Davidson engine like the one first seen onĀ Trouble. The single front cylinder displaces 965cc and uses the rear head. A Rotex supercharger is mounted in place of the rear cylinder. Continue reading →
